Breed : Quarter Horse
Registered? : Yes
Description : Twilight is a purebred, registered Quarter Horse mare. She is 10 years old and is 100% sound. She has never had an injury and hopefully she never will. She is broke to ride Western, English and bareback. She is very easy to catch, halters easily, leads well, ties to anything, trailers like a dream, picks up all four feet without any fussing at all, clips well, blankets, saddles easily, bridles like a dream, etc. She was broke to ride at the age of 3. Twilight has been used for : trail riding, riding lessons, barrel racing for fun, barrel racing competitions, western pleasure, guest horse, etc. Also, she is 15.1 hh. She has great bloodlines. Great barrel horse. Ideal for youth/ladies horse or barrel competition horse. She loves the trails, she will go hack out alone or with company. Gentle, and quiet enough for the young ones, or for someone who has never been on a horse. She neck reins, direct reins, side passes, turns on haunches, turns on forehand, bows when asked to, you can stand on her back, crawl under neath her and sit there, lay on her back, double on her, she can take her front feet off the ground and spin to the other side on a dime when asked to, rears when asked to, kneels when asked to, hugs me when asked to/or she does it by herself, etc. She is well trained and looking for a new home. Reason for selling : Too many horses/animals.

Age : 7
Breed : Thoroughbred
Registered? : Yes, but don't have papers because of the previous owners wouldn't hand them over.
Description : Sandi is a registered, purebred Thoroughbred Mare. She is 7 years old and is 16.1 hh. She is 100% sound and has never had an injury. (At our farm, she has never had an injury, but with her previous owners, I'm not sure). She is broke to ride English, bareback and a little bit of western. She direct reins only, but working on the neck reining. She is easily caught, ties, leads, saddles, trailers, shoes, clips, bridles well, etc. Sandi is used for : jumping, trail riding, cross country jumping, jumping competitions, dressage, etc. She is a handful for a beginner, but great for the intermediate rider to experienced. She does get spooked from sudden movements/noises, but other then that she isn't spooky. Oh, and she gets spooked from plastic bags and balls moving around/bouncing. She has jumped to 4'3". In cross country, she has done water jumps, mud jumps and the logs. You can stand on her back (If your brave), and you can walk under her. I have only ridden her maybe 6 times, and thats about it. She's my husband's horse and they both are like best friends.

Breed : Arabian Cross Quarter Horse
Description : Princess is an Arabian cross Quarter Horse filly. She just turned 2, last month. She is a bay black and has squiggly blaze. Princess is 100% sound, and has 3 warts on her mouth. (She got the warts from her full brothers). We have separated them all, and she won't be getting anymore. Princess is easy to catch, leads, ties, picks up feet, trailers well, etc. If not sold before she turns 3, We'll start training her to ride. I think she'll be a great 4-H prospect or jumping horse. She is great with other horses and is a total sweetheart, and loves *all* of the attention. In the herd, she isn't the alpha, she is the shy filly, whose scared to be mean to stand up to the other horses.

how to take care of a kitten that's had a Heat Stroke?
A few Weeks ago, We found a Kitten in the middle of the street and it's eye's weren't even open at the time and I guess it was a stray cat who was moving her Kittens and accidentally droped one which doesn't seem likely because no mother would ever do that but anyways, we've been taking care of it ever since and it has no mother so we need to feed it with a baby bottle which surprisingly worked, now its been a few weeks and its eyes are open and it began walking and out of no where it had a heat stroke and it wasn't able to breath properly and ended up dieing, my mom was able to bring it back to life some how (thankfully) she went to a vet and got this bottle stuff and it doesn't seem to be fully working cause the kitten still seems ill and I've been telling her take it to a VET they can assist it more then you can because they've been trained for this sort of stuff, shes saying there nothing they can do for it, BUT COMMON? Really? I'm a minor and I understand enough of an animal is ill, YOU TAKE IT TO THE VET. she just turned 40 and for some reason she things rubbing its stomach and kissing it will make it better.Anyways shes to ignorant to take it to the vet so i was wondering what can we do to help it? and yes i understand its illegal to be taking care of a kitten with no mother but we called SPCA and they said they couldn't.
Also I get it, The vet couldn't do much but they can moderate it's health to tell whether or not its getting better or worse along with other stuff.

Right and Wrong reasons to put a dog to sleep?
We adopted a 4 year old shepard mix from the pound about a year ago. It has been a nightmare. Please read all details before answering, I need a GOOD answer...We are thinking we may have to have him put down because:
He bit a neighbor and now he has to be muzzled 24/7
He does not tolerate other animals AT ALL he is dangerous to cats.
He poops and pees in the house even after being outside for a good amount of time.
The vet has seen him MANY times and cannot explain his behavior. We have paid hundreds for health tests and for behavioral treatment with experienced trainers. Nothing has even come close to helping him or us.
We also have a 5 month old baby, and the dog gets jealous. He has nipped at my leg while I was holding the baby multiple times.
He gets good food, plenty or exercise and attention, but his behavior issues havn't changed one bit. I have owned and trained dogs all of my like a NOTHING like this
No mean comments please. I DO feel bad about how he has turned out but I have tried it all.
Would it be the right thing just to have him put down at this point?
I though about adoption, but, who will adopt a dog who is dangerous? No trainer coudl help him. I used ones the vet suggested. Even sent him away to 'rehab' for 2 weeks. Nothing. The owner of the doggie rehab said he showed no improvement. :(
The shelter was just a dog warden dept. The are high kill and don't collect a history or spend time with dogs to learn about them
I have never professionaly trained a dog, just my parents pets. and we DID put a lit of money into him, don't be jealous because in 21 and my husband makes a good salary. You don't know me at all. And, its not illegal to adopt a dog when you are pregnant. Just because I got him while pregnant doesn't mean hes 'neglected' chill TFO.

and How should I act after this...???I'm 33. I've been running and exercising like an athlete for 10 years now. A friend talked me into running my first 5K. My husband and sister were watching from a spot in the woods. While I was running, I was passing SO many people. My confidence started to rise and I realized I was doing very well. I realized the running and training I have been doing for years was paying off. When the race was over, we had to wait for results. I thought there was a small possibility I could have placed and wanted to wait for the results. Then, my husband said to me "REALLY?!? You really think you placed?...because there were these college girls that were really "booking it" when they passed by us..." He wasn't teazing. He never said anything positive or encouraging to me immediately after the race. Later I told him I was upset about the statement he made and it started a fight. He told me "I could just tell there were girls doing better than you!" To top things off, my sister backed him up. I don't understand how you say these things to someone. I'm not someone who needs to be knocked off of my high horse by any means. I have very little confidence in myself and I'm very insecure. It turns out, I didn't place. I did very well at 5th in my age group of 92. I also placed less than 20 out of 430 total females. I can't even be happy about it because of what HE said. I feel so alone...And stupid for caring so much about this race. Thanks for reading.

As you probably know, Scyther and Scizor have very different base stats, but their base stat total is the same. I want to know if it is possible to do this:Get a Scyther
EV train the Scyther in Speed and Attack
Get the max speed, max attack Scyther to Level 100
Evolve it to Scizor via trade with Metal Coat, and keep all of Scyther's old stats
Teach Scizor all the moves I want with TMs, move re-learner, etc
There are a couple reasons i want to do this. First, Scizor's typing is far better than Scythers. Next, It will catch my opponent off guard to see a fast Scizor. I realize this keeps Scizor from having good defences, but I am willing to live with that.
I just want to know if this is possible, please tell me if it is!

I've been having sex with my best friend for about 2 months now- neither of us want a serious relationship yet and we're just having fun. At the beginning we would kiss a while then move on to fingering etc- now it seems to be over in 15 minutes. We live far away from each other and I would like to see him more but he doesn't seem bothered- he's quite happy to see me whenever I'm in town. We talk every day on the phone etc so our relationship is fine. But I'd like to have much more sex, almost jump on him as soon as I see him and then do it 2 or 3 times. How can I get him to want it more? Without being slutty? I think he's just not as highly sexed as me as he's gone for a long time without sex, plus I think he feels pressured to perform (not by me!! What dog food is good for my black lab..?
I'm getting a black lab in two weeks, and I'm going some catch up research on training and other things.My dad has him in another city, and he can't take care of the dog anymore so he is giving him to me.
He is about one, and is a black lab who is smart..but stubborn.
My dad feeds him dog cereal, i dont know what kind..and i hear he gives him meat to eat.
When i came to visit my dad for a week, we had to stay at another person's house because there were to many people. He brought the dog down for about 4 days, and during that time the dog was eating rice and chicken, and bread with the leftover spaghetti sauce..along with other human foods.
I told my dad to stop that, because i don't know what dogs can't eat and such :/
Whats a good dog food brand? Id like to make my brother buy it once we get the dog, but to him all dog foods are the same and he'll opt for a not so expensive/cheap brand :/
I feel like a nerd when it comes to buying dog products and informing my brother on it, and he and my sister just shut me down and yell at me..

Where do I stand on the scale of 1 to crazy?
I am a laid back person that takes whatever may come, and this quality I think has helped tons with parenting my two year old. I never treated her as a baby and she is very advanced just for this reason. But now it's like I have set really high standards for her. This all came about when I was trying to be nice and easy with her and not super serious (by nature i'm not), like not following through with threats and things like that. My friend (mother of 4) told me that I am spoiling her and if she's bad as a baby she will be a complete terror as she gets older. She learned this with her first one and the other 3 are much better behaved for being much younger. I had to lay down the law -now- So I did, because I want a good kid and from maybe 1 1/2 when I got the advice up to 2 years old (and about 2 months) the child became a perfect angel.I'm just going to say now and prepare for whatever comments are coming - that I do smack my daughter. I smacked her fingers when she was younger to help her better understand the meaning of "no", and I smack her on the butt or hand now. I smack lightly, but it's still disagreeable and can work great to get the point across. I now have a well behaved 2 yr & 5 month old. I've been told that I am such a good mommy. I have respect and maybe a tiny bit of fear when neccessary, so thats a good balance. She *wants* us to be happy with her, so that's also a great place to be. I do things like explain why it's wrong and by now she already knows and just wants to push her limits. I also began time outs, these are for when she cries at me to get something she wants, and I don't want to hear it so I'll send her upstairs to cry. She hates them and they are also effective!
Well I don't think I am too hard on her and I think that shows because she's turned out so well, but I do think I have lost it when it comes to potty training. She was almost fully potty trained, and completely reverted, so I have tried everything to get her to do it again and she is in complete rebellion. It's become a power struggle and everything else negative that potty training can come to. Now, I've let her go for two whole days no forcing no pressure no nothing and like I knew she would, pee and poop herself and have no problem wearing it (where as it used to be a problem!). It's making me crazy but I will do whatever it takes, and I'm thinking I must of just set my standards too high. I'm going to treat her a little more like a baby I guess, we are to the point where I can give her "that look" and she knows! I thought it was a good place to be but have I been too hard on her and shouldn't be there just yet. I guess I'm repeating myself now and I really have lost it, but I just don't get it - she's so intelligent, I can have actual conversations with her and she was doing so amazing and now she's doing so blah! I would appreciate any advice , and I don't know what my question is anymore, the whole thing is a question! and no one has an answer because kids are so *unique* lol
@ K, now that's enough. It does sound bad but I do not hit her out of anger I know how to control my emotions even if it's extremely hard. As I've stated I use it because I want to have a good child and it has worked for just that. By" fought her" I'm not throwing punches, I'm trying to get her fighting little body under control. Now to me, you sound phscho but I have not followed u insulting you. You sound like you're worried for the safety of my child which is ridiculous. I realize I wasn't doing it right but I am yet to see you make a useful comment on helping my situation. Not punishing my child=demon child and that is not going to happen. My daughter adores me and is a total mommas girl by the way so I don't think I've damaged her. I will tone it down some and expect less from her so I guess thanks for the encouragement. I guess it's not as good as I thought it was to have a 2 year old who everyone thinks is older because she acts it in every way.

My 6 month old Dobe is very good. He's got a 10 metre outside training lead, which I use to train him on. My husband said I should get a Flexi lead/leash to train him with. My personal opinion, I am a bit wary of them incase they break, cause an injury and how would you train ANY dog on one of those let alone heel. Why Is My Kitten So Misbehaved?
ok this is a long story so bare with me k, we have 2 male cats 1 at a year old and the other is about 3 months. this is about the kitten. when we were given him he was 6 weeks (we were told 10 then found out different from vet), he had a lot of medical problems, he wouldn't eat cat food (he had been weaned it's just the moron who gave him to us never fed him any proper food) and didn't know how to clean himself and it was our older male who taught him all this. however he very very very badly behaved, just so u know, because of similar eating and behaviour problems 2 further kittens from the litter have been returned and seen as he was giving them away for free it says a lot. ok, we're are going insane, he's kept in a different room from our adult, we introduced them properly and they accepted each other very quickly, they got along great there was no fighting or snarling, they spent all day cuddling then all of sudden the kitten pounced at the adult and everytime he sees him attacks hell out of him. he eats everything in sight, he pushes our adult out the way and starts eating his food, he lauches himself on to our dining table and tries to get into our dinner, he scratches hell out of our doors and miaows constantly, he has loads of toys and we spend most of the day playing with him but as soon as we leave the room he goes insane scratching the door and trying to dig under it. he attacks us and our older cat really quite viciously, we've tried squirting him with a water bottle and still maintain that even tho it isn't working, he's a longhaired cat so by the time the water actually affects him he's gotten away with it long enough, we've tried the water bottle, tried tapping his nose and bum (not hard), we praise every good thing he does and give him treats is he does but nothing is working he's getting out of control. we keep thinking what we've done wrong but we know it's nothing we have as our adult is so well behaved we cant fault anything he's ever done because we trained him quite quickly. btw our adult is neutered the kitten isn't (he hasn't got any yet which we're kind of wondering about too) please help we're going crazy xi dont know what u mean by barbed, neither cat has a breed (vet) and they got along great to begin with

Is my mom Raciest towards black people?
Okay, my mom is pretty racist sometimes for example if I say something that sounds like its slang or street she says oh why you trying to be black. If i hang out with black friends and I do something wrong or come home later from school or give an attitude she thinks I got that from black friends. She also told me the other day, we were talking about girls on the train and she said I hope you don't like black girls. My family is pure Latino other than us having Italian roots i don't know but I think my goes WAY to far with black people, today she said all of them are beasts. She says "Educated black people are okay" She means more like white people in a way, not directly saying it. Educated and black are two different things though but just cause they are black does not mean anything. Also in high school apparently she was bullied by black people, not the best of schools in the 80s. I think she got a hatred to them. One thing too shes Dominican so she actually might be part black. Also every time I tell her that shes racial towards black people she says why am I defending them, your not black. I don't defend black people cause I want to be black just cause its amazing how racial she is. Please tell me if she is cause that way I know I'm not alone on this. i will be crate training my new puppy and people recommended that i get a toy and put his litter mates and moms scent on it to soothe him, but im afraid he will see the toy and think its play time so i was thinking maybe a blanket but im afraid he will chew it to shreds. should i get a blanket for him? or a toy? and he will have a crate pad in his crate that he will only spend nights in. during the day he will be in the laundry room with toys, water and a bed. should i give him the toy/blanket while we are out during the day?Pytanie #22:
What do you hate most about New York City?
I live in NYC( Queens), and I brutally hate it.- The trains smell like urine with sewers right between the tracks.
- Rats crawling everywhere and no one giving a crap. I hate how the MTA wastes millions of the tax money.
- I hate how the crime in NYC makes it dangerous for myself to go out at night.
- I hate how the homeless on the streets are lying around everywhere as if they are poor decors.
- I hate how the education system is so behind from the rest of the world( I know, I went to High School here).
I commute to Downtown Manhattan everyday and everyday I see tourist. If they see the reality of my life, perhaps they would reconsider as well. And the list continues... my question is, what do you hate most about New York?

Yeah, when I was 11 I actually babysat a lot.. crazy right? I am 15 now and I babysit 11-12 year olds. I didn't babysit for more than 5 hours usually. A lot of the time it was mothers helping. :o)

I know a lot of people disagree with this training style, but here's my question:Instead of physically forcing a dog to roll (putting yourself into bite-range), what if it was a verbal command as in "Down. On your back." said in a stern, growling-type tone?
What are your opinions on this particular method?

Question for people who volunteer at animal shelters?
How do you not completely connect with or fall in love with the animals you care for?, or want to take them home?I recently started some volunteer training at my local spca, I will be a dog socializer. I get to take the dogs out for walks and spend some quality time with them and get them out of their kennels. My worry is that I will fall in love with these dogs, I already have a chocolate lab mix and my parents don't want to have two dogs. It just seems so hard, how do you deal with it???

Training on a horse while pregnant?
I just found out im pregnant(about 5 weeks)....for the past 2 months before i found out i got a 3 year old horse to start training on barrels,....shes doing really well and learning fast...and i hate to stop riding at the begining of her training and especially while shes doing so well! I was told that if your doing something before your pregnant...sports, ridding, working out, ect. that your not supposed to stop what your doing, your just not supposed to start doing stuff your body isnt used to...has anyone heard differently?Yes I have been riding for 18 years and barrel racing for 10. And I know what you mean about people saying whats more important your unborn baby or your horse.....if your not a horse lover you wouldnt understand!

I'm getting a 1 year old black lab. He is really smart, but he is aggressive sometimes and when we walk him he pulls on the leash so much!-What do I do so he can stop pulling when we take him for walks?
-How do I get him to stop jumping?
-Before I put a leash on him, he gets all jumpy and excited and won't stay still. So how do I get him to calm down? I make him sit..but he won't stay.

Confusing behavior from my new puppy?
I got a new puppy about a week ago and she has been doing pretty well with potty training, but of course she still has accidents. On one such occasion, I admit, I lost my temper and spanked her, but not hard! I caught her in the act, picked her up, put her nose by the mess and tapped her on the butt (not hard enough to hurt anyone, I promise!!) But now she seems to be afraid of me sometimes. If I call to her sometimes she'll come to me, but a lot of times it seems like she is running to my friend to protect her. I feel bad for losing my temper, but I am getting pretty frustrated. I'm the one who feeds her, takes her outside, walks her and plays with her, yet she still runs to my friend. How can I make her trust me again?Maybe I should have made it more clear why I lost my temper. I take her out every two hours on the hour. I had just taken her outside, we walked around for a good bit, she peed and pooped, and then she went back into the house and peed on the floor not 10 minutes later. For those of you berating me, everyone loses their temper. You aren't any different. I already admitted my mistake. Move on.

I am 22 and I'm a Operations Manager at a NYC Public High School. Although I'm good at what I do (because I've worked extremely hard to get there) and I love the students, I'm not completely happy. Managing 30 adults and 267 teenagers is highly stressful. Stressful to the point that I have lost weight from my small appetite. But when I get home, I youtube So You Think You Can Dance & Dancing With the Stars performances, throw on a dress, and dance along with everyone. I learn choreography rather quickly. I confirm for myself everyday that dancing is my passion, but I've never taken any classes. Most dancers start at 4, but my family didn't have much money so that wasn't the case for me. I can finally afford to take lessons, but I'm afraid my dream of being a dancer is silly. Compared to most, 22 is a bit old to start a life on dance. And I want to do it all...Ballet, Ballroom, and Latin being the main focuses. Do you think 22 is too late? And how do I even begin the process? It's not like college. You can't just join a dance school. Most dance schools would like you to have atleast 3 years of training and you have to audition. Any advice for me?Pytanie #46:

What should I expect from Army Basic Training?
It's almost time for me to go to Basic Training for the Army and I'm a little nervous. I'm worried I probably won't it through and quit, which is what I don't really want to happen. My brother told me to not let anything get to me and make me panic or scared. I feel that I might just quit just after a few days in. People say I won't make it and I'm also thinking the same thing. I really want to do it because I need the money, but some people say I won't make it.I never actually had a job before, not even once, no one would hire me at all so I'm satisfied with the pay. I'm single and my financial aid just went away so can't do anything with college now.

i turned up late! :( . what is my chances?
i had an interview at a local restaurant and midday yesterday. went for the bus which would usually make me 20 mins early but 3 buses was missing :O and i ended up being 10 mins late. i rung the employer up and explained about the buses and she told me to turn up as soon as i can.when i got to the place i was taken to a table and they brought me a drink while waited for the interview to finish training some other staff.
the women was very kind and i apologised about being late and she was like 'it doesnt matter'. she sat next to me instead of across and asked me a few questions and then we chatted about how i could change the company with my ideas.
she then explained everything that i would be go through with training like RJPs and an induction... overall i was in there for about 30 minutes.
what is my chances of getting this job?
